A tattoo on your lips will almost certainly cause severe pain, and could lead to bleeding, swelling, and bruising. If you are going to have them both done, do it at the same time or you wont get the other one done.

How bad does a tattoo hurt on a scale of 1 10. I got mine on my lower back. And yes, it does sting and burn. On the piercing scale, nipples are def.

The tattoos that i have on my upper arm certainly stung, probably a 4 out of 10, but by the bend of the elbow on your forearm is easily a 7 out of 10. For me personally, it felt like a cat scratch but only while the needle was in. I've pierced a looooooot of nipples.

And yes, it burns and hurts and can be pretty unbearable. Seriously, thats how friggin bad it hurts. On a scale of one to ten i would say about a three , its not so much pain , but pressure and a slight sting.

:) it was almost like your getting small pinches over and over but it kinda burns at the same time. And nobody has ever said it didn't hurt. You feel bad pain and think omg i am being cut open and it gets worse.

(but not as bad as amputation) nipples are intense and the healing can suck. I got my first but i can tell you the closest explanation to how it feels is hot pin scraping your skin its not that bad at all and after awhile the part your getting tat'd goes numb i know the wrist is more painful but i say go for it if you really want it. So sometimes it helps to look at the tattoo and see that its really not going deep and its doing little if anything.

Nor is it near any bone. Tattoos on the neck, hand, ribs, finger & head tend to hurt more because there is more bone in that area. Everyone's body is completely different.

Also, for the sake of your tattoo artist having an ideal canvas, the forearm is a great for tattoo placement. But yeah, it usually doesn't hurt as bad as you think it will. It honestly depends on a lot.

Having your arm ripped off would def. ( i guess a 2. So i guess for the placement of mine, i'd say like a 2, it stung on some bits but otherwise was pretty alright.

I say if you want it , go for it. But it's really nothing and as you can see i have a small tattoo on my hand. Between a 1 and a 10, depending on location.

Experiance, ive had mine done for a year now. But its mostly what you see. Your foot is so boney it does hurt a long i have a pretty good pain tolerance andit hurt so much.

I have only one tattoo and i have it on my lower back. Once it was out, i didn't feel a thing. Not too bad i think… but then again my tattoo isn't quite as low down on the wrist as it could be….

But you’ll have to deal with more needle on bone. Sometimes it feels like someone dragging a lit match across your skin, other times it feels like white hot scalpels carving designs into your bones (don't get tattooed over your sternum, it sucks so bad). They don't hurt that much , i had mine done with a really good piercer , so it was ok , make sure you have a good piercer as well , it makes a difference.

Some parts of it were a 5 and some were a 9. Most comments are stating that it doesn't hurt, but it might actually hurt you to. The rib cage, spine, foot, or anywhere else where the bone is close to the skin will be more painful.

Some say it feels like scratching, it felt like a hot razer blade to me. Haha hope i'm not turning you off getting one :). I watched a guy get one on the back of his upper calf one time, and he claimed it didn't hurt him a bit.

The skin on and around your lips is generally loose with lots of nerve endings. The outer elbow, while still high on the pain scale, avoids the nerve issues encountered in the elbow ditch. One of the less painful areas for a tattoo.

It's a little hard to describe how it feels. The wrist hurt pretty bad too since the skin is so thin there, but the actual forearm it's not that bad. It will depend on where you want yours though.

It was not pleasant for me but it was tolerable. Its my fist tattoo i will probably still get it no matter how much it hurts just trying to get an idea. I have also witnessed people who said it hurt a lot.

But keep in mind, you are putting holes in your body no matter what it will hurt. But those were tiny and my artist didn't stick in those spots long. But whatever pain is caused goes away very quickly , and your left with a really nice piercing.

If you've heard anything about laser tattoo removal, it's probably that it's insanely painful. I'm getting a sparrow about 8cm high and 10 cm wide. Socks can rub away the scab sooner than need be so you will need to wear sandals but have pants to cover your foot so you don't have extra sun on it.

A few tiny spots were an 11. It is by far worth the pain, if it's a design you really love, and your body releases endorphins that help you cope with the pain. Granted it was a minor tattoo but it really depends on what you're getting and where.

I mean, if i had a nickel for every time i've heard, doesn't that hurt even more than actually. My piercer did not freeze it, so i am pretty sure they do. Bony areas tend to hurt more than areas with more fat or muscle.
